Welcoming Winter Visitors

Welcoming Winter Visitors

We have plenty of visitors during the winter, attracted by the wonderful countryside, seaside, walks, wildlife and ambience of the Jurassic coast. There are lots of things to do around West Dorset in the winter time, without the busyness of the summer guests. Local food and fayre are wonderful particularly The Three Horseshoes and the Anchor, both in Burton Bradstock, and the lovely Seaside Boarding House on the cliffs beside the village. Try the Hive Beach Cafe for breakfast and lunch, too. Read more here.

All of our cottages have cosy wood burning stoves and are centrally heated, there is plenty of space for your dogs to run free and a beach less than a mile away for those wonderful walks. If you’d rather borrow ours, Piglet is always up for a walk!
