Things to do on two feet

We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the whole of England, an absolute treasure trove for walkers of all capabilities. And because network of pathways cross our property, you can start exploring from your doorstep. There’s a wildlife trail leading from the farm to our local village of Burton Bradstock, only 10 minutes away. Once there it’s a great little village for a potter (and a pint, should the mood so take you). There is also a lovely path from the farm to the local Hive beach. From there you can join the 560-mile long South Coastal Path, one of the great national trails in the UK. And this also means it’s just 20 minutes walk from our back door to one of the highlights of the entire trail – the World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast. If you are walking some or all of the trail over several days we can also arrange to have your luggage forwarded on to your next stop.

We have maps and wellies in case you need them, and if you are really stuck, you can give us a call and we’ll come and pick you up. Other lovely walks in the area include West Bay and Eype, Burton Bradstock to West Bay, and various walks around Abbotsbury. You can download maps for all these walks by clicking on the links. Once you are back at Graston, we offer drying facilities so you don’t need to leave your wet wellies and clothes in your cottage or camp.
